I wanna play like him,

For the past few weeks, i was amazed by how Ronaldo was hitting the headlines week after week. I was crazy over his insane freekicks and kept trying to kick like the way he does. I even went on Youtube and watched his videos over and over again. But obviously, i still failed. But that didn't stop my desire to imitate Ronaldo's play.
And if i could put in so much effort to try to be like Ronaldo who is "imperfect", what about Jesus? Don't I want to be like Jesus? To serve like Him, to love like Him, to lead like Him. It is obvious i can't be Ronaldo but i didn't stop trying. It is obvious we can't be like Jesus but why aren't we trying? Afterall, its how much we do that counts.
Time to get back on track. Not Ronaldo but Jesus.

I feel the fire coming back. Perhaps its because this is the final hurdle, I've wasted so much time for the past few weeks and no mistake this time. One attempt, make it count. I'm counting on You for my guys to work, for people to help us, for hearts to be soften and for HCI visitors to flood the blue rows on Saturday. I used to dream about visitors occupying the rows of Nexus but end up not doing enough to help realise these dreams. Please don't tell me it's not the right timing; cause this time, I really believe..

(And i finally know why my prayer for the game against VS wasn't answered.)

Had a debate with Jem yesterday over the Hope Premier League thing. The debate went on for quite long and i guess it was probably because both of us stood firm in defending what we believe is more important(Going down to play or not). Even though the debate ended after 1 was willing to give in, i believe it didn't end just there. We still had different opinions, both had valid reasons for his own stand. There is no right or wrong, it all depends on your own perception. And its because of this, fights break out because everyone thinks that he/she is right. People often forget that the ultimate judge is the One up there.

I strongly believe in team spirit. Even a sprinter would need his team to cheer him on as he runs. For us, its the same. Its a spiritual warfare we are fighting here, there is no one man/group show. Its a unit thing.

So i ask, what do You think?

We won the 2nd half today, 1-0. Final score 1-2. Bye bye top4. :)

Perhaps it was because my prayer wasn't specific enough and thats the only reason i can find. If not, why? I really don't get it.

We're in the second round already and we lost our first game against sengkang. Tomorrow will be the 2nd half of the match against VS( it was postponed due to rain). We're 2-0 down now, this reminded me of how Liverpool won the champions league a few years back. They were losing 3-0 and went back to 3-3. If they can score 3 goals against ACmilan in one half, why not us? It's tomorrow or never; our last chance to get into the top4.
